Steve Bingham here, the agent behind YourVaHomeSearch. I grew up in the town of Vienna and still live there with my wife Kathleen and my children Lucy, Hope and Andy. Over the years the town has certainly changed, some for the good and some for the bad. Traffic has certainly gotten worse over the years. However, all in all most folks really enjoy the small town feel of Vienna.

The town lies just outside the capital beltway and is adjacent to Tysons Corner. Vienna's population is about 17,000. Vienna is the last stop on the Orange Line Metro system.
Vienna has several yearly events that contribute to Vienna's small town community feel. One of my favorite activities is biking on the W&OD path. The path runs from Shirlington to Purcellville VA, a total of almost 45 miles. I enjoy a long bike ride and then a couple of craft beers at Whole Foods which sits right next to the trail in the heart of Vienna!
The real estate market in Vienna has remained steady, even during the down turn that impact most of the country. The town is mostly comprised on single family detached homes. There are couple of condo buildings, particularly around the Vienna Metro station. The town has a fair number of town home communities.
